Clinician Portal
Your secure home for the three tools that power developmental couple reports — diagnostic intake, couple questionnaires, and clinical feedback. Sign in to begin.
How it works
Capture your first clinical impressions of the couple through the developmental lens.
Send each partner a private, personalised questionnaire link and review responses before they reach Solyrais.
Share what landed clinically after reviewing a report packet to refine future reports.
Our story
Solyrais began with a simple conviction: that helping couples grow is some of the most important work there is — and that the right tools, in the right hands, can make that work clearer, kinder, and more effective.
The name
The name holds the sun inside it: sol, the light of first morning, and the rays that spill across a waking landscape. It is the picture behind everything we do — dawn falling on what was hard to see the night before.
A couple's struggles are rarely a mystery of facts; they are a mystery of understanding. Solyrais exists to illuminate the truth already living between two people — gently, accurately, and always in service of the clinician sitting with them.
What the work is built on
Our clinical backbone is the Developmental Model of Couples Therapy — four decades of research, practice, and training from Drs Ellyn Bader and Peter Pearson of The Couples Institute. It sees a relationship not as broken or whole, but as growing: each partner learning to become fully themselves while staying connected to the other.
Its interpretive layer is Métis, named for the Greek embodiment of wisdom and practical intelligence — the counsel that knows not only what is true, but what to do with it. Created by Mark Falzon, Métis translates the ordinary language couples use into developmentally meaningful insight a therapist can act on.
The people
Drs Ellyn Bader and Peter Pearson have spent a lifetime teaching therapists around the world how couples actually change. Their Developmental Model is the scientific heart of Solyrais.
Mark Falzon built Solyrais in close partnership with them, pairing that clinical wisdom with the Métis framework so the model could reach more clinicians — and through them, more couples — without ever standing in for the therapist's judgment.
Why we built it
At the root of Solyrais is a plain and stubborn passion: the desire to help people. We believe that when a couple grows stronger, the good of it ripples outward — into steadier families, healthier communities, a more compassionate society, and, in time, a better world.
That belief is the reason this platform exists. Every decision we make serves the therapist, because it is the therapist who carries this work into the room.
Keep shaping it
Solyrais gets better every time a clinician tells us what landed and what didn't. Your feedback isn't an afterthought; it's how the model, the reports, and the tools grow. If something could serve you better, we want to hear it.
Get in touchEvery submission is encrypted in transit and at rest. You review each couple questionnaire for identifying information and approve it before anything reaches Solyrais. Raw questionnaire responses are held only briefly and then purged; your de-identified reports stay in your secure account. Solyrais applies HIPAA-aligned data handling, and as an Australian operator, Solyrais Pty Ltd (ACN 699 393 612), complies with the Australian Privacy Act 1988. We are putting the required contractual safeguards in place, including Business Associate Agreements with the clinicians who use Solyrais and with the vendors that process data on our behalf.
